Landscape Maintenance Account Manager

Reports to: Sales Manager
Works closely with: Production Managers, Operations Manager

Seat Purpose

I own and grow my assigned client relationships by ensuring clear communication, contract accuracy, renewals, and revenue growth while acting as the voice of the client internally.

Primary Accountabilities

1. Client Relationship Ownership I serve as the primary point of contact for my assigned maintenance clients, building strong relationships through regular communication, property visits, and firsthand knowledge of each client’s property, priorities, and expectations.

2. Contract Management & Renewals
   I own maintenance contract renewals, pricing updates, scope clarity, and contract accuracy for my assigned accounts.

3. Revenue Growth
   I identify, propose, and close enhancements and additional services within my assigned accounts in alignment with company offerings.

4. Client Communication & Issue Resolution
   I communicate proactively with clients regarding services, changes, concerns, and expectations. I escalate issues appropriately when needed.

5. Production Coordination (Not Execution)
   I coordinate with Production Managers to communicate scope, priorities, and client feedback. I understand that execution and efficiency remain the responsibility of Production.

6. Change Orders & Billing Accuracy
   I ensure all requested changes, additional services, and scope adjustments are properly documented, approved, and billed.

7. Client Feedback & Retention
   I regularly visit and walk my assigned properties to inspect conditions, verify expectations are being met, identify concerns and opportunities, and provide actionable feedback internally. I conduct client walkthroughs and check-ins as appropriate to ensure satisfaction and identify risks to retention early.

Definition of Success

I am successful when clients are retained, revenue grows within my assigned accounts, communication is clear and timely, and production teams receive accurate, actionable information without confusion or rework.
