Full Time Certified Nurse Anesthetist

Overview Cone Health is seeking a Full Time Certified Nurse Anesthetist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team serving patients across the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. As a key member of our anesthesia care team, you will provide safe, high-quality anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical and procedural cases in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, proceduralists, and interdisciplinary clinical staff. You will work in a dynamic, innovative healthcare environment with access to advanced technologies and resources, while playing a vital role in delivering community-focused, high-quality healthcare to the region we serve. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and review medical histories and diagnostic data. Develop individualized anesthesia care plans. Educate patients and families on the anesthesia process and postoperative expectations. Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care during procedures. Manage airways and continuously monitor patient status; adjust anesthetic levels as needed. Respond promptly to changes in condition or emergencies to ensure patient safety. Participate in postoperative care by evaluating patients, managing pain and anesthesia-related side effects. Document all aspects of care in the electronic medical record (EMR). Communicate effectively with PACU, ICU, and floor nursing staff to support smooth transitions of care. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals to support compassionate, patient-centered care and evidence-based practice. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and adhere to regulatory and hospital policies. Maintain infection prevention and safety standards; participate in continuing education to advance clinical expertise.
