Job Summary: Responsible for understanding standard survey practices, daily completion of work, and maintaining survey equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Basic understanding of the plans (blueprint reading).
2. Ability to operate all survey equipment (G.P.S., total station, level, etc.).
3. Performance of basic survey calculations to assist the Party Chief.
4. Keeping construction documents up to date.
5. Maintaining equipment in proper working order.
6. Keeping the utility truck fully stocked with materials.
7. Performing construction stakeouts and accurately storing stakeout data.
8. Understanding and making necessary changes to Revit models.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Ability to communicate and interface effectively with others.
• The ability to work seamlessly in a team environment is essential.
• Working toward a NICET certification alongside 2 years of survey and/or layout experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (including steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, etc.).
• Frequent reaching above shoulder heights and below the waist; occasional stooping, kneeling, or bending.
• Frequent use of hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects.
• Occasional climbing of stairs, ladders, and structures.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk short distances for the entire duration of a shift.
• This is a Safety-Sensitive position.
