As a Med Surg RN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for performing comprehensive assessments, developing and evaluating care plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Your ability to adapt to changing situations and communicate effectively will be key to your success in this role.

• Perform patient care responsibilities considering age-specific needs
• Conduct head-to-toe assessments and reassessments as per policy
• Revise care plans based on patient response and evaluate daily for effectiveness
• Formulate and evaluate teaching plans for patients and families
• Assess and educate on pain management techniques
• Communicate clearly with Nurse Manager, co-workers, and physicians
• Consult with other departments for an interdisciplinary approach
• Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical skills
• Maintain patient confidentiality and address psychosocial needs
• Ensure documentation meets current standards and policies
• Coordinate and supervise patient care within licensure
• Need 1 year experience in setting
