divh2Supervisor Night Shift Tank Cleaners/h2pThe Tank Cleaner / Night Shift Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the night shift cleaning crew of abrasives inside vessel tanks to support daytime blasting and coatings operations. Additional duties include pressure washing, power tooling, and assisting with coatings application by brush and roll. Work is performed in confined spaces and at heights while maintaining strict adherence to safety procedures./ppEssential Functions:/pulliSupervise and lead a crew of 10-15 employees./liliReceive and relay direction from operations managers./liliMonitor, plan, assign, and coordinate daily task and manpower to meet production schedules and support daytime blasting and coating operations./liliClean and remove abrasive materials from tanks and confined/enclosed spaces/liliPerform pressure washing using high-pressure equipment/liliAssist with power tooling and surface preparation activities/liliAssist with coatings application by brush and roll as directed/liliSet up and break down work areas and equipment/liliMaintain housekeeping of worksite and dock areas/liliOperate equipment such as boom lifts, skid-steer loaders, high powered vacuum equipment and dingo when required/liliFollow all company safety policies and procedures/liliCommunicate with supervision regarding production or safety concerns/liliComplete additional assignments as directed by supervision/li/ulpJob Qualifications:/pulliAbility to work night shift, overtime, and weekends as required/liliComfortable working in confined spaces and at heights/liliPhysically capable of performing demand labor including lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing/liliAbility to work in varied environmental and weather conditions/li/ulpKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:/pulliAbility to safely work in industrial and marine environments./liliAbility to use tools, equipment, and required PPE./liliStrong work ethic and ability to follow direction and safety requirements./liliWritten and verbal communication in English is required/liliBilingual English and Spanish required to a level to give direction for operations and safety/li/ulpEducation and Experience:/pulliShipyard, maritime, and/or industrial coating environments required./liliOperational experience required with common industrial equipment (forklift, manlift, boomlift, etc)/li/ul/div
