Job Title

Learns and assists multiple departments and positions as needed and works with management to proficiently understand how the Company operates.

Role And Responsibilities

Learns and assists multiple departments and positions as needed. Departments may include but are not limited to Operations, Safety, Driver Recruiting, Pricing & Analytics, Maintenance/Shop, and off-site Operations.

Provides feedback and suggestions on process efficiencies and improvements.

Works with managers post-training to provide backup, as needed.

Learns to perform supervisory responsibilities as needed to effectively manage personnel and drivers by coaching, planning, assigning work, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and training employees.

Establishes and maintains positive work relationships.

Travels and/or relocates as needed for additional training and to learn and assist with other locations.

Receives and carries out instructions.

Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Uses critical thinking to solve problems and makes decisions independently.

Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree; or three to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Ability to travel.
