Purchasing Assistant –Warehouse clerk

Must be able to work in the Heat and work overtime, day shift

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete shipping and receiving paperwork

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments

• Receive, inspect, organize, and stage materials

• Assist with purchasing materials, supplies, and hardware

• Communicate with vendors regarding orders, pricing, and deliveries

• Enter orders and maintain accurate inventory records

• Operate a pallet jack safely

• Load and unload heavy cabinets, wood, and other materials

• Keep the warehouse organized and maintain a safe work environment

• Perform general warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

• Shipping, receiving, purchasing, warehouse, or woodworking experience preferred

• Basic computer and data-entry skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Must be able to work 10-hour shifts

• Must be comfortable working in a hot warehouse environment

• Must be able to lift, load, unload, and move heavy cabinets and materials

• Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team

• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Pay : $16–$20 per hour, depending on experience and role/responsibilities.

Employment : Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Full-time / 10-hour shifts
