Job Details Position Description: Responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of pediatric patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. Utilizes specialized knowledge and judgment to provide age-appropriate care, participate in research activities, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, specifically in pediatric or intensive care. Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: The candidate will be responsible for collaborating closely with physicians, patients, and families, documenting all patient interactions timely and accurately, and participating in ongoing education and professional development activities. Responsibilities include direct patient care, supervision, and mentoring of staff, as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree and professional certification in pediatric or critical care nursing are preferred.
