About Us
The Residential Cook plays a vital role in supporting our clients recovery journey by preparing nutritious, high-quality meals in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This position requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to accommodate a variety of dietary needs while maintaining kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals and desserts in accordance with established menus and portion guidelines
- Accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in a timely manner
- Set up and break down dining areas, ensuring a clean and orderly environment
- Deliver meals to designated areas at scheduled times
- Dispose of food waste and manage trash removal in accordance with health standards
- Clean and sanitize food stations, surfaces, and kitchen equipment
- Monitor and restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed
- Assist in maintaining kitchen appliances and reporting any maintenance concerns
- Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
