Development Funding Support Specialist

The Development Funding Support Specialist is responsible for providing essential administrative support to Faith Comes By Hearing's Marketing and Communication team. This role primarily supports the writing team in compiling data, gathering testimonies, and completing other assignments necessary to produce impactful grant proposals, donor reports, and marketing copy that further Vision 2033.

• Compile and organize key program data for grant proposals, donor reports, and marketing copy.
• Assist writers with compilation and distribution of donor reports.
• Collect and organize existing field testimonies and corresponding images/videos, maintaining a database of testimonies that can be easily accessed by members of the Marketing and Communications team for marketing, fundraising, and reporting purposes.
• Coordinate with writers to suggest and locate viable testimonies, images, and video for grant proposals, donor reports, and marketing copy.
• In coordination with writers, research individual projects and programs, and determines the best way to present that information to donors, foundations, ministry partners, and churches.
• Maintain a calendar of proposal and report deadlines accessible to the writing team.
• Develop and maintain an archive of donor reports and grant proposals.
• Attend monthly donor report and proposal meetings.
• Research and compile donor giving history to assist grant and proposal writers.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM, Monday.com, and other digital tools to accomplish various components of job.
• Draft copy for grant proposals, donor reports, and other development funding initiatives, as needed.
• Provide administrative support to Digital and Print Marketing Manager and Creative Communications Manager, as needed.

Required:

• Alignment with Faith Comes By Hearing's mission and vision.
• Associate's degree in related field such as marketing, business, or administration or 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a non-profit or international setting.
• Data entry experience.
• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM, or a willingness to learn.
• Experience with Monday.com, or a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain discretion when acquiring, organizing, and distributing highly sensitive and/or confidential content.
• Works well independently and as a team member.

Preferred:

• Writing experience (copywriting, copyediting, etc.), or equivalent college coursework.
• Cross-cultural experience domestically or internationally.
