Technician RoleThis role is ideal for technicians ranging from early-career cabling professionals with 1+ year of experience to seasoned technicians looking to elevate their skills and grow to the next level. Our technicians and electricians work on nationwide deployments, infrastructure upgrades, and large-scale rollouts for some of the world's largest brands, gaining exposure to the latest networking technologies and installation practices.This role is dispatched from home, meaning you can live anywhere within the region and travel directly to project sites. Reporting directly to our Field Services Manager of the region, this role will require travel to any US state as needed.Benefits:Be part of a people-focused team leading the way in nationwide technology integration & deployment.Remote position (work or dispatch from your current area)Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, 401K, Life, Short Term and Long-Term DisabilityPaid Time Off (PTO) accrued weekly with flexible scheduling options.Company vehicle and cellphone reimbursement.Continued education and training programs.Travel expenses paid, including scheduled travel time, fuel, hotel charges, and meal allowances with zero out of pocket expensesOur positions provide exposure to some of the newest technology available, expanding your knowledge and industry skillset through continued development and on job training.Direct deposit - paid weekly!Responsibilities:Strict adherence to safety standards and ensure everyone goes home.Designing, installation, dressing, termination, & labeling of structured cabling (both fiber & UTP copper cabling) networks in retail, commercial, & industrial settings to meet BICSI standards.Network & device configurations with the ability to troubleshoot and remedy connectivity issues.Verification and Certification of structured cabling network and ensure the accuracy of cable testing, documentation, and storage.Experience with MAC (Move, Add, Change) type projects in retail, commercial, & industrial settings.Manage and accurately log time, expenses, material, & field resources throughout project lifecycles.Manage work orders, signoff deliverables, daily log / journal, and other project documentation, sometimes directly to customers, project management & leadership teams.Management and maintenance of company assets & vehicle (if assigned).Requirements & Qualifications:Must demonstrate the highest standards of ethics and integrity.Must understand and demonstrate a safety mindset in all settings.Must have the ability to travel, often extensively and sometimes with little notice to anywhere in the United States for several weeks at a time.Flexibility to work the hours of the traditional second and third shifts.Strong client / people relationship skillsMust have at least one year of experience and an aptitude for technology and working with your hands.Three years industry experience is strongly preferred.BISCI or other industry certifications are strongly preferred.Phone, mobile application & PC proficiency required (Microsoft Office applications strongly preferred).Ability to read and understand prints and schematics related to installation SOWs.Must have a valid driver's license & be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).Meet company standards for pre-employment background checks and drug screening.Typical physical demands include frequent work on lifts, ladders, and possibly rooftops and other harder-to-access areas.Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with employees and / or clients; manual dexterity required for frequent reaching, climbing, and lifting of objects (typically up to 50 lbs.), and operating power tools.Must have industry-standard hand tools.Above all, our employees maintain a strong safety mindset and take pride in leaving every installation clean, organized, and professionally executed.Safety Sensitive Position:In compliance with state and federal guidelines, Staley's has identified safety-sensitive positions to include but are not limited to Service Technicians (POS Technicians, Electricians, Data Technicians, and other service technicians), and other positions.
