This role requires a professional with a strong background in handling cases such as thoracic, orthopedic, neurology, vascular, urology, and general surgeries in a high-acuity environment. The unit operates 24/7 and includes some holiday coverage.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU

• Provide comprehensive care to post-anesthetic patients
• Monitor and manage post-operative recovery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
• Participate in unit quality improvement activities

Requirements of the RN - PACU

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in PACU specialty
• AHA ACLS & BLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience with Cerner is necessary
