About the role You own the foundational systems that make Build’s agentic AI real in production. This role is responsible for the infrastructure that orchestrates autonomous agents, manages long-running, high-stakes workflows, and guarantees reliability at institutional scale. Your work sets the hard limits of speed, autonomy, and trust across the entire product; Build and operate the core primitives: agent orchestration, workflow engines, state management, eventing, and execution reliability. Design systems that survive real-world failure modes: partial data, human handoffs, long timelines, regulatory constraints, and zero tolerance for silent errors. Make architectural decisions that directly determine product capability, velocity, and customer trust. Own infrastructure end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, observability, and ongoing evolution. Work tightly with product, applied AI, and domain experts to translate abstract workflows into durable, production-grade systems.
