Boulder tax firm seeks an Accountant/Tax Preparer to join our small team.
Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and advanced computer skills A MUST! We used ATX for return preparation. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are important to position, as is attention to detail. Applicant must be comfortable making and answering calls and communicating directly with clients. Pay commensurate with experience/skill with opportunity for growth as responsibility increases. If you are not yet licensed as either a CPA or EA, we can help you get there.We prepare over 1,000 returns per year. So, being able to quickly shift between projects is also important.
You will be expected to work approximately 50 hours per week during high season (January-April and September-October). We shift to a four day work week the remainder of the year.
This is not a remote position. You will be issued a laptop for inclement weather (it is Colorado!) and to supplement normal office hours.
