Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Incident Response in Louisville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of chemical and petrochemical facility buildings, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor for and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor and contractor processing, and documentation of incidents and patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
