Rayne, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. This role is responsible for surface preparation, coating application, and finishing of metal components and industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing and service environment. Pay: $20–$28/hour (based on experience)

Essential Duties:
• Perform sandblasting and surface preparation on metal parts and equipment
• Apply coatings including primer, epoxy, and industrial paint systems
• Inspect surfaces for cleanliness and proper adhesion
• Mix and apply coatings per manufacturer specifications
• Maintain painting equipment and ensure proper operation
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Work collaboratively with fabrication and production teams

Requirements/Skills:
• 2+ years of industrial painting or blasting experience
• Experience with airless spray systems and coating applications
• Knowledge of surface prep standards (SSPC/NACE preferred)
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a shop and/or outdoor environment
• Experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments preferred
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and noise
• Must be able to wear required PPE, including respirators and protective gear
