Medical Assistant We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our established pediatric office. The successful candidate will be responsible for rooming patients, preparing exam rooms, taking vitals, patient charting, appointment scheduling, obtaining prior authorizations, and assisting around the office as needed. Responsibilities Rooming patients and preparing exam rooms Taking patient vitals Patient charting Scheduling appointments Obtaining prior authorizations Assisting with various administrative and clinical tasks around the office Essential Skills Experience in medical assisting and patient care Phlebotomy experience including heel and finger sticks, and butterfly technique Experience with appointment scheduling and insurance verification Experience in pediatric care preferred Experience with ECW EMR preferred Strong clinical and administrative skills Additional Skills & Qualifications MA Diploma/Certification/RMA 1 Year Pediatric Experience Work Environment This role is based in a very busy pediatric office that can see up to 15 patients in an hour with 11 providers. The standard working hours are 9 AM to 5 PM or 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with rotational weekend shifts from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. The office environment is fast-paced and requires a proactive and efficient approach to patient care. Benefits include 2 weeks of PTO, 401k, vision, dental, and health insurance. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
