Position requires privileging process prior to start (approx - 120 days from time of signature). For partner agency placements: There is a required Pre-Application Fee of $125 per candidate for privileging. HARD STOP: Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic experience & CSFA, NBSTSA or NCCSA.

Start Date: Candidate must complete Privileging process prior to start (approximate timeline - 3 months).

Schedule: Days

Weekend: Only required during call

Call: Call 1 day a week and 1 weekend every 4ish weeks. That is subject to change based off of departmental needs.

Floating: Within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed

Minimum Experience: 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelers

Compliance: FULL compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule

Locals accepted - same rate

Please Note: Number of Non-Billable Orientation Hours (NBO) is determined by contract length (ex 8hrs for 8 week assignment; 19hrs for 19 week assignment)

Agency RTO Guidelines: A. 14-week contract= 10 days of RTO B. 26-week contract = 17 days of RTO C. No consecutive weekend request. D. Cannot request all Major Holidays. E. Can only request 1weekend of RTO in a 4- week time frame. You are allowed to switch days in order to get the unapproved RTO covered. Please refer to the unit process for switching. Unit does not accept travel pairs PHIOR does not honor block schedules. No self-scheduling

Piedmont Submission Rules: Local Candidates: Accepted at same bill rate RN Licensure: GA or Compact license required at time of submission Internal Return Rule: Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler Return Travelers: If cancel or facility DNR, traveler must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying + ensure profile reflects all time worked at Piedmont Health RTO Policy: ALL RTO MUST BE FINALIZED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION NO RTO OR SCHEDULE REQUESTS CAN BE REQUESTED POST OFFER OR ONSITE Max RTO: 7 days per contract Holiday RTO: Holidays (6) - Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year s Eve/Day If 1 2 holidays fall during assignment: No holiday RTO can be requested If 3 holidays fall during assignment: 1 holiday RTO may be considered Compliance: Onboarding: Must complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing Deadline: All compliance documents due Tuesday prior to start Modules: Modules are non-billable, hours are factored in NBO Modules are completed during orientation, and vary by specialty Modules are recorded via transcripts
