TIG Welder

WelderWe are seeking a skilled TIG welder to work with stainless steel products in the semiconductor industry. This role involves welding components for valves, fittings, equipment hook-ups, manifolds, regulators, and tube press fitting systems.ResponsibilitiesAdhere to weld schematics and accurately identify weld symbols.Apply basic math skills and welding principles.Conduct inspections and ensure high-quality fabrication using blueprints.Weld stainless steel and sheet metal components with precision.Essential SkillsProficiency in TIG welding.Experience in manufacturing environments.Ability to read blueprints and fabricate components.Familiarity with stainless steel and sheet metal welding.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with purge welding.Experience in stainless pipe welding.Why Work Here?Enjoy 7 paid holidays and 80 hours of PTO in the first five years, with an increase to 120 hours. Initial training occurs Monday to Friday, from 6:30am to 3:00pm. Transition to a swing shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm to 1:30am, with a 10% shift differential.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
