We are a fintech platform that bridges traditional finance with cryptocurrency, enabling banks and credit unions to offer seamless investment access to stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and digital assets within their existing digital banking systems. Focused on retaining deposits and enhancing account holder engagement, the platform empowers users with tools for fractional investing, robo-advisors, and educational resources. It aims to provide secure, compliant, and user-friendly solutions, helping financial institutions compete with external fintech platforms.

Overview of the Role

We are seeking a Backend Python Developer to join our dynamic and growing team. This role involves building and maintaining scalable backend systems that enable seamless integration of innovative investment tools into financial institutions' existing infrastructure. You will play a crucial part in designing and implementing robust APIs, ensuring high-quality code through test-driven development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. Working in a remote environment, you will need strong communication skills, a self-starter mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup culture focused on transforming wealth management through technology.

About the Role

As a Backend Python Developer, you will:

  • Develop and maintain scalable, reliable API integrations in a Python + FastAPI environment.
  • Design and build modular application components on AWS Serverless infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers and product managers to develop seamless solutions.
  • Implement test-driven development (TDD) to ensure high-quality software.
  • Own the entire development lifecycle—from coding to deployment.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Python.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and AWS services.
  • Familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, or Django frameworks.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of AWS CDK and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
  • Passion for fintech and a desire to innovate in wealth management.
