PRACTICE SETTINGS

You would spend roughly 50% of your time as a member of ourhospitalist team at Charles Regional Medical Center in LaPlata, Maryland. As amember of the hospitalist team, you'd be responsible for admitting patients,performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospitalrounds, and planning for discharge. The other half of your time would be spentserving as an attending physician across several of our skilled nursingfacility clients in Southern Maryland, where you would perform exams anddevelop treatment plans, adhere to Adfinitas and facility's policies andprocedures, facilitate patient's transition within and between healthcaresettings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.


REQUIREMENTS

• Board eligible/Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, including use of email, are necessary in dealing with a variety of healthcare professionals, Adfinitas colleagues, family members, and patients
• Team oriented attitude toward patient care
• Demonstrate commitment to Adfinitas core values - Quality Care, Willingness To Do, Maintaining Personal Connections, and Teamwork
• Demonstrate commitment to high ethical standards and healthcare compliance
• Skill in diagnosing and treating diseases
• Active state license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration, BLS and ACLS
