QA Tester6+ month contractJacksonville, FL (ONSITE)Project Overview:Supporting a vendor-built project. This project is in charge of the integration with the client's systems and will optimize how railroad trains pass each other. A lot of research will be involved as this sort of optimization hasn’t been done before.Must Haves:3+ years of QA experienceExperience with regression test plansSomeone who can interpret the problem and then accurately write and document the problemExperience with API’s or PostmanAttention to detail and strong analytical skillsNice to Have:PythonTest strategy (regression testing versus functional testing)Transportation or railroad backgroundClient Job Description:Experience in writing test plans and test scripts development on Web, Desktop applications.Experience with database testing (Oracle/SQL Anywhere/Indexed DB)Exposure to various defect tracking and test tracking tools like JIRA, QC is a definite plus.Experience in performing Functional/technical testingWill be working with Business Partners - so having good communication skills is a mustExperience working in an Agile environment, with 2/4 week sprintsRequired Skills: 3+ years of QA experience, Experience with regression test plans, Someone who can interpret the problem and then accurately write and document the problem, Experience with API's or Postman, Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
