About Your Role: Identify improvement opportunities within site or across business unit Identify and remove organizational barriers for continuous improvement process Drive site's layout improvement Drive site's flow process improvement Drive sharing of best practices Use the Value Stream Map to measure progress Accountable for sustainable results Track project metrics Your Responsibilities Will Include: Develop in-depth understanding of Lean Sigma philosophy and methods as demonstrated by successful training and certification in these areas. Analyze and identify projects that can eliminate non-value added activities and can create value to our customers. Drive to change the old business ways and to bring breakthrough improvements. Motivate others to accept process changes and take ownership. Train, educate, and mentor others in the organization on Lean/Sigma principles. Other works assigned by supervisor. 5 years manufacturing experience (technical and/or manufacturing) Proven leadership, communication and coordination skills able to influence and motivate others. High passion for excellence, and strong execution for action. Excellent project management skills. Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present complex topics in a concise manner. Effective interpersonal skills of dealing with people at various levels and at various functions. Demonstrated ability to effectively drive change. Strong analysis capability and strong statistical background. Strict thinking skills. Solid understanding of business issues, metrics, and customer value.
