QA Tester

Job TitleSeeking a C2C candidate located in the specified area.Scope of WorkRequired consultant experience provided by Contractor, shall include:Information Technology (IT) Testing and Testing Coordination experience, including the development and management of test scripts (5 or more years)IT project experience using Agile methodology (5 or more years)Experience using Issue and Project Tracking Software (5 or more years)Preferred Experience/Skills:Knowledge of / Experience with implementation of an online submission or ordering application including payment processingProven ability to manage quality assurance of software testing (integration, functional, performance, regression, usability, accessibility, etc.)Influences, motivates, and challenges othersAbility to translate requirements, system documentation and business rules and procedures into test scriptsAbility to define comprehensive test strategiesAbility to work with system testers to ensure timely and quality execution of test scriptsAbility to manage defects and prioritize issues based on business impact and severityAbility to create and present clear, concise, and comprehensive reports, including testing status, bug/defect status, bug/defect owner, estimated bug/defect resolution date, mitigation plans and issues/risk identificationAbility to create detailed test plans, outlining scope, timelines, resource allocationAbility to manage test script templates and assist business analysts with template issuesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with othersAbility to communicate technical information verbally and in writingAbility to manage and resolve conflicts or disagreements in a constructive manner to minimize negative impact.Experience / knowledge of a wide range of softwareExperience with JiraExperience with Azure Development OpsExperience with Microsoft Office 365Testing CertificationInternational Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Foundation Level CertificationISTQB Acceptance Testing CertificationISTQB Agile Testing CertificationISTQB Agile Technical Testing CertificationISTQB Advanced Test Analyst CertificationISTQB Advanced Technical Test AnalystISTQB Advanced Test ManagementISTQB Expert Test ManagementRequired Duties and Responsibilities of Consultant shall include but are not limited to:Testing Coordinator for e-File and Pay project - Remote work is not available for this position.Testing and Validation: Define test plans, test cases, and test data to validate that the developed solutions meet the specified requirements and timelinesDefine testing scope, objectives and acceptance criteriaIdentify and mitigating risks associated with testing activitiesCoordinate and manage system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution aligns with user needsWork with system testers to assign test scripts to ensure timely and quality executionProduce clear, concise, and comprehensive reports, including testing status, bug/defect status, bug/defect owner, estimated bug/defect resolution dateEducation/Certifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or other technology related field.Required Skills: Manual QA Testing, Automated QA TestingBasic Qualification:Additional Skills:This is a high PRIORITY requisition.
