Sr. Financial Analyst, Amazon Leo, Leo Procurement Finance

Its Day 1 for Amazons next billion dollar business and we are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join the Leo Supply Chain Finance team supporting financial planning and analysis for Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) procurement operations one of Leos most complex and capital-intensive supply chain this role you will deliver the financial analysis models and reporting that inform procurement decisions and support investment strategy for the PCBAs that power Leos satellite technology.

You will build and maintain financial models develop scalable and repeatable processes and turn procurement and supplier data into clear actionable insights for finance and business leaders. Partnering closely with PCBA procurement and the broader Supply Chain Finance team you will help analyze supplier agreements support month-end close and variance analysis and build the reporting frameworks that communicate results to Leo leadership. Youll bring attention to detail strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities
- Build and maintain comprehensive financial models that evaluate PCBA procurement strategies supplier performance and total landed cost enabling data-driven analysis to support multi-million dollar procurement decisions for the printed circuit board assemblies that power Leos satellite technology.

- Develop detailed cost forecasts and budget plans for PCBA procurement that inform Leos satellite production roadmap and surface opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency gains.

- Partner with PCBA procurement stakeholders to analyze supplier agreements contract structures and pricing models and draft clear written financial summaries for Supply Chain Finance and Leo leadership review.

- Build and maintain scalable reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into key procurement performance indicators including purchase order tracking inventory turnover supplier performance metrics and cost variance analysis for finance and business leaders.

- Support month-end close variance analysis and the recurring planning cycle (OP1/OP2 quarterly guidance and monthly estimates) for the PCBA procurement area ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

A day in the life
Your day starts with reviewing key procurement financial metrics and preparing for a meeting with PCBA procurement partners to evaluate the financial impact of a proposed supplier agreement for printed circuit board assemblies. You spend time analyzing contract structures building financial models to assess total cost of ownership and forecasting potential cost savings opportunities. You draft a financial summary on a proposed multi-year PCBA supply agreement calling out unit economics volume commitments payment terms and any supply chain risks.

- Bachelors degree in business finance accounting tax economics or a related analytical field
- 3 years of finance accounting or related analytical field experience
- Can meet export control requirements by being a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
- 3 years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
- 3 years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience

- MBA or CPA
- Experience in forecasting budgeting variance analysis and interpreting financial results
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
