The Non CDL Driver is a delivery position responsible for driving a company vehicle limited to a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 25900. The position will be assigned stops to deliver foodservice products with a high level of service to customers. One year multi-stop delivery experience required or six month local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience. Must meet the medical requirements of the Department of Transportation (DOT). All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, occasionally Mondays. Some shifts will start between 5 am-7am until deliveries completed. Average 8-10 hr. days. Some shifts will start between 11 am - 12 pm until deliveries completed. Average 8-10 hr. days.

Main Ingredients of the Job:

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
• Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
• Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required

What You Bring to the Table:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required. DOT medical card/certification required.
• Must be able to pass DOT physical and pass pre-employment testing (including items such as Drug Screen & Background Check)
• No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver's license suspensions in the past three years.
• No commercial or professional driving experience required. One year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred or six months local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience.
• Hand cart delivery experience preferred.
• Availability to work on weekends, Holidays and overtime in order to service customers
• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $22-$23 per hour. As applicable, this role will also receive overtime compensation. Benefits for this role may include medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k benefits, paid time off, and other benefits.
