Pediatric Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing, community-focused healthcare organization in Chandler, Arizona. In this outpatient role, you will provide comprehensive pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents. Your day will include well-child visits, preventive screenings, developmental assessments, acute illness evaluations, chronic condition management, and family education.

You will work alongside physicians, medical assistants, nurses, and care coordination teams in a collaborative environment that supports quality care and efficient patient flow. What we're looking for includes an experienced NP or PA with at least 2 years of pediatric clinical experience, someone confident in managing common pediatric illnesses, preventive visits, and ongoing health concerns, and a collaborative professional with strong communication skills and a family-centered approach.

Job duties and responsibilities include providing comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, conducting well-child examinations, diagnosing and managing acute pediatric illnesses, evaluating and managing chronic pediatric conditions, performing developmental assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing and implementing treatment plans, educating parents and caregivers, collaborating with healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate documentation, and coordinating referrals.

Required qualifications include an active Arizona Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in pediatrics, experience providing direct patient care in a pediatric clinical setting, strong knowledge of pediatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care, excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient education skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Preferred background includes being bilingual in English and Spanish, previous experience in an outpatient pediatric clinic or community health setting, experience managing moderate-to-high pediatric patient volumes, familiarity with pediatric immunization schedules, developmental screenings, and preventive care guidelines, experience serving diverse or underserved patient populations, and strong EMR documentation and care coordination skills.
