Baker’s Table is an award-winning, chef-driven tasting menu restaurant in Newport, Kentucky. We are
known for our high standards, attention to detail, and commitment to craft.
We are currently hiring a Chef de Partie to join our team immediately due to growth. This is an opportunity
to step into a high-performance kitchen with clear expectations and growth potential.
What You’ll Do
Execute dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
Work with the most amazing and inspiring local vegetables, grains, and proteins
Make every component of every dish by hand—practicing the craft of cooking
Maintain strong organization and cleanliness of your station
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standard service environment
Communicate and collaborate within a tight-knit, performance-driven team
What Success Looks Like
Consistent attendance and reliability
Strong prep and station readiness before service
Ability to execute dishes to spec within timing standards
Positive attitude, openness to feedback, and accountability in a high-expectation kitchen
Clear, respectful, and professional communication
Compensation & Perks
$40K-$45K salary based on experience
50% health/vision/dental coverage after 30 days of employment
Consistent full-time hours with four x 10 hour shifts per week

Requirements
3+ years of kitchen experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to stand for 10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
