About This Role

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and attentive Infant Nursery Caregiver to join our childcare team. This position is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants while supporting their daily care and developmental needs. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and passionate about working with young children.

What You'll Do

  • Provide attentive care for infants, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and supervising daily activities
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy nursery environment
  • Follow established schedules for feeding, naps, and playtime
  • Interact with infants through age-appropriate activities that encourage healthy development
  • Communicate professionally with parents and coworkers regarding each child's daily care
  • Follow all daycare policies, health regulations, and safety procedures
  • Maintain accurate records as required
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure high-quality childcare

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age (if under 21 will consider professional experience)
  • High school diploma or GED required (additional education in Early Childhood Education is preferred)
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to lift and carry infants and childcare equipment as needed
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable attendance and dependable transportation

Nice To Haves

Previous experience caring for infants in a licensed childcare setting

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Knowledge of safe sleep practices and infant care best practices
