Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist – St. Louis, MO (National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Facilities) Now Hiring! Earn $24–$25 per hour and support individuals with disabilities in achieving independence and success in the workplace. The role includes hands‑on support, training, and coordination for labor‑focused professionals while ensuring compliance with AbilityOne, CARF, and related programs. Responsibilities Ensure the vocational and non‑vocational needs of assigned individuals are met. Complete AbilityOne documentation such as Disability Qualification Determination and Participating Employee Information forms accurately and on time. Maintain case records in accordance with CARF, Medicaid, AbilityOne, and other funding-source regulations. Provide training to operational personnel to implement vocational supports. Coordinate services with local case‑management agencies to facilitate total program services. Maintain familiarity with behavior‑management techniques. Perform quality assurance of data and attendance records to ensure compliance. Maintain up‑to‑date participant information for case files and funding sources. Coordinate assessments of assigned individuals and new referrals as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities Train and coordinate with operational personnel for vocational supports implementation. Coordinate with local case‑management agencies for total program delivery. Maintain proficiency in behavior‑management techniques. Ensure data and attendance record accuracy and compliance with regulations. Coordinate assessments of clients and new referrals. Qualifications One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Strong interpersonal, training, and writing skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; good motor vehicle record required. Ability to travel to multiple locations with little notice. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. Ability to access secure government buildings and obtain necessary clearances. Interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled instructions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Physical Demands Frequently stand; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Occasionally walk, sit, and lift up to 50 pounds. Requires close, distance, and depth vision with focus adjustment.
