Student Mental Health Counselor

Professional counselors will be available on campus and virtually for one-on-one counseling sessions with undergraduate students, staff, and faculty. These sessions will address a wide range of mental health concerns, such as stress, anxiety, depression, academic pressure, and personal issues. Provides therapeutic counseling on campus and virtually. Provides mental health case management services for day-to-day campus needs as well as crisis intervention when needed. Provide training and workshops on areas related to mental health, on campus and virtually. To enhance student well-being, resilience, and academic success through effective mental health support. Provide crisis response interventions and support for students in distress.

Must be licensed in the State of Kansas as an LCPC, LCSW, or LCMFT. Must have a minimum of a master's degree in counseling or a related field, such as social work, clinical psychology, human relations, or any field with at least 18 graduate hours in a combination of the qualifying fields listed.
