If you require assistance or accommodation to participate in the job application process, please contact View email address on click.appcast.io.**POSITION SUMMARY**The Quality Trainee will assure consistent quality of production by enforcing quality and manufacturing standards. ***This is an overnight shift with hours from 5:30pm to 6:00am. Some weekend work required.*** **RESPONSIBILITIES*** Ensure all products are produced per Milo’s quality standards.* Obtain samples for bacteria plating and daily quality checks as needed.* Monitor compliance with and administer GMP or SQF requirements.* Ensure Food Safety and Food Quality compliance as directed.* Maintain all laboratory and testing equipment and perform calibrations per schedule.* Assist with the receipt of raw ingredients and sample, test and/or review.* Monitor FIFO and communicate concerns to the QA Manager.* Perform testing and document weights, volumes, colors, brix, codes, packaging integrity, and other routine testing as required.* Perform environmental testing of air, water, and bacteria according to schedules.* Perform additional duties as directed by the QA Manager.* Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.* Collect and prepare samples for shipment as needed.* Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.* Invest in and is an example of Milo’s Responsibility commitment which includes environmental, social, and corporate governance components. **QUALIFICATIONS*** Applicants must have an Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school minimum. Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Food Science, Chemistry is preferred; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
