Job DetailsJob Location: Lafayette YMCA - Lafayette, CO 80026Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $15.16 - $15.16 Hourly The YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking a Customer Relations Specialist to welcome our members, answer questions, give tours, and help individuals and families understand and access Y offerings. Position is part-time 10-15 hours per week, year-round. This is a flexible role that can fit a new retiree, as well as someone just starting in the workforce or seeking a second job. We are looking for weekend coverage with an occasional shift during the week. We offer a +10% differential for staff who work the opening shift and another +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English. Responsibilities Welcomes our members. Qualifications Must be reliable and committed to arriving on time for every shift. Customer Service and Sales Experience. Professional, alert, courteous, and tactful. Spanish proficiency preferred (additional 10% pay differential for Spanish and English fluency). Intermediate computer skills required. Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and make fine discriminations in sound. Visual Acuity The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes. Working Conditions The worker is subject to noise: There is sufficient noise to cause worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level.
