You will work closely with BCBA supervisors, OTs, SLPs, teachers, and families to implement individualized behavior support plans and skill acquisition programs that promote meaningful learning.Key focus areas:Implement evidence-based ABA procedures under supervision (e.g., DTT, NET, prompting, shaping, reinforcement) to support skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviorsCollect and document data on target behaviors and skills; maintain accurate progress notes and data sheetsImplement Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under BCBA guidanceCollaborate with BCBA, teachers, OTs, and SLPs to align ABA goals with ExcelPrep's instructional frameworkPromote generalization and maintenance of skills across settings (classroom, therapy rooms, home)Communicate regularly with families about progress, home strategies, and carryover plansMaintain ethical standards and confidentiality in line with BACB guidelines and school policiesResponsibilitiesDeliver direct ABA services to students, following individualized treatment plansCollect, graph, and analyze data to inform supervisory decisionsImplement prompting strategies, reinforcement schedules, and errorless learning techniquesAssist in the development and modification of skill acquisition programsParticipate in team meetings and progress reporting; contribute to IEP/504 processes as applicableMaintain documentation and ensure compliance with BACB supervision requirementsSupport a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for neurodiverse studentsQualificationsCurrent Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from BACBHigh school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in psychology, education, or related field a plusPrior experience working with children or in pediatric ABA settings preferredFamiliarity with DTT, NET, prompting strategies, data collection, and basic ABA principlesStrong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with families, teachers, and other professionalsBilingual (English/Spanish) or experience serving Spanish-speaking families is a plusCommitment to ExcelPrep's mission and a passion for meaningful learning outcomesSchedule, Location, and BenefitsLocation: San Antonio, TXSchedule: Full-time; typical school-day hours with potential for after-hours meetings or planningOn-site role with opportunities for cross-campus collaboration as applicableBenefits: Competitive compensation; comprehensive benefits package; professional development opportunities; supportive, mission-driven cultureNote: Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.How to ApplyApply directly on this posting via Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or LinkedInSubmit your resume and a cover letter detailing:Your RBT experience and pediatric ABA backgroundHow you collaborate with BCBA, teachers, OTs, and familiesWhy you are drawn to ExcelPrep's missionYour BACB certification details (certificate number) and expected supervision planTwo professional referencesInclude any relevant certifications or training (e.g., data collection, behavioral coaching, etc.)If you have questions, please contact us through the posting channels.
