Enhance the lives of students and support your fellow educators as an in-person Speech Language Pathologist on a contract basis. You’ll step into a school-based environment near the scenic Myrtle Beach area, dedicating 10 hours per week to meaningful, one-on-one work with children. Your expertise and presence will play a vital role in lightening the caseload for the staff SLP, ensuring every student receives the attention and care they deserve.

Your skills in the following areas will ensure student success and a rewarding work experience:

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Active SLP license with eligibility for South Carolina requirements
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) completion
• Strong background in pediatric speech therapy, especially within school settings
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress reporting, and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in-person each week
• Partner with the staff SLP to share caseload responsibilities and document student progress
• Contribute to IEP development and participate in eligibility meetings as appropriate
• Offer professional input on student needs and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Maintain accurate, timely records according to school and district guidelines
