Job Description Job Summary: As a Tire Technician I, you'll perform basic to mid-range diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic repairs and replacements. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions Assists in basic to mid-range diagnostics and troubleshooting Assists with basic repairs, preventative maintenance, and replacements in assigned classification Operates with basic tooling May work with others in an apprentice-style environment Performs tire repairs; repairs / replaces; mounts / dismounts; controls tire inventory; repairs / replaces wheels Delivers tires to tire banks Trains others Performs Associate Tire Tech duties The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position. Work Experience Qualifications & Key Requirements 1+ years of related experience - Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to work in a team environment - Required Education HS Diploma or GED or equivalent - Required Licenses/Certifications Obtain / maintain a third-party tire certification - Required Obtain / maintain a CDL - Required Meet H-E-B driving qualifications - Required Physical Demands & Working Conditions Lift 100 lbs and carry 5 feet Work while sitting, standing, stooping, bending, or in a prone position Work with hands over head Climb and work from a ladder The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Partner encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
