Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy evaluation and treatment services within an acute hospital setting
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and functional goals
• Participate in holiday coverage — must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities as needed to meet operational demands

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Physical Therapist License required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Must commit to all requested time off being submitted upfront at the time of submittal — post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient therapy setting
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility
