Fixed Income Business Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Fixed Income Back Office Business Analyst with 8–13 years of experience in fixed income products, systems, and operations. This role supports trade processing from execution through clearing, settlement, accounting, and P&L. The ideal candidate has experience with Broadridge Impact or a comparable platform and can work with operations and technology teams to resolve issues and improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and support fixed income trade processing, clearing, and settlement workflows.
\n
• Investigate trade and settlement issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolutions with business and technology teams.
\n
• Support government and corporate bond settlement processes, including exception management.
\n
• Analyze repo, tri-party, and securities borrowing and lending trade flows.
\n
• Review how trades and lifecycle events move between front office and back office systems.
\n
• Use SQL to investigate data and validate trade activity.
\n
• Document requirements, workflows, issues, and proposed process improvements.
\n
• Follow ITIL processes for incidents, changes, and production support.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
• 8–13 years of experience in fixed income products, systems, or operations.
\n
• Experience with Broadridge Impact or another fixed income back office system.
\n
• Strong understanding of the full fixed income trade lifecycle, including processing, clearing, and settlement.
\n
• Knowledge of government and corporate bond settlement lifecycles.
\n
• Experience with repo transactions and understanding of tri-party and securities borrowing and lending.
\n
• Understanding of fixed income accounting and P&L.
\n
• Working knowledge of SQL and ITIL.
\n
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
