Transactional Attorney for Legal AI Training

Role Overview

Apply your technology transactions expertise to help improve AI systems used for real-world contract review, negotiation, and legal analysis. In this remote, part-time contractor role, you will contribute expert judgment to the training and evaluation of AI models, helping them interpret contract language, identify risk, and produce more precise legal outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete simulated contract negotiations and contract-redlining exercises.
• Review and assess AI-generated responses to contract scenarios, providing detailed feedback that improves performance and precision.
• Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract-related AI tasks.
• Partner with product and research teams to refine data, guidance, and best practices for AI-driven contract review.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions.
• Experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
• Strong contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, close attention to detail, and strong analytical ability.
• Ability to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
• Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
• Corporate law firm experience in M&A or private-equity fund formation.

Work Terms

• Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.
• Work is completed on a task basis. Average handling time is approximately 3.5 hours per task.

Compensation

• $90 to $130 per hour.
• Payment is based on completed tasks that meet project specifications. Effective hourly earnings depend on the number of tasks completed and successfully approved.
