Transactional Attorney for Legal AI

Role Overview

Help improve advanced AI systems used for real-world technology transactions by applying your in-house legal judgment to contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining scenarios. This part-time, remote contractor role focuses on training and evaluating AI tools to identify risk, interpret contract language, and deliver more precise legal analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
• Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback that improves performance and output precision.
• Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract-related AI tasks.
• Partner with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-supported contract review.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of in-house experience in technology transactions.
• Experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
• Strong contract drafting, deal negotiation, and contract redlining skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, analytical ability, and close attention to detail.
• Ability to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Demonstrated interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
• Corporate law firm experience in M&A or private-equity fund formation.

Work Terms

• Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.
• Work is compensated on a task basis. Average handling time is approximately 3.5 hours per task.
• Effective hourly earnings depend on the number of completed tasks that meet project specifications and are approved.

Compensation

$90 to $130 per hour, with effective hourly earnings determined by completed and approved task volume.
