I am seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join a well-established manufacturing organization. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in analyzing cost structures, improving financial efficiency, and supporting strategic decision‑making. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where accuracy and insight drive operational success. Key Responsibilities Analyze and report on manufacturing costs, including material, labor, and overhead. Prepare and maintain standard cost systems and ensure accurate cost allocations. Monitor inventory valuation and reconcile variances. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for production costs. Collaborate with operations and finance teams to identify cost‑saving opportunities. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies. Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes related to cost accounting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of cost analysis, inventory management, and standard costing. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
