Radiology Technician

Are you a Radiologic Technologist looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced surgical environment? At Huebner ASC, we believe in teamwork, compassion, and clinical excellence. We’re currently seeking a Radiology Technician to join our collaborative surgical care team. Under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, and surgical staff, you'll play a vital role in assisting with diagnosing injuries and disease through radiographic procedures.Key Responsibilities:Perform radiographic exams and procedures as ordered by physiciansEnsure radiation safety protocols are followed for patients and staffOperate, maintain, and position x-ray equipment and patients for optimal imagingProcess radiographic images using digital or film methodsMaintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentationSupport the surgical team with patient positioning and room turnoverCross-train and assist as an Instrument Technician when neededFoster a safe and therapeutic environment in accordance with center protocolsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives for better patient outcomesPromote and uphold the mission, vision, and values of our organizationQualifications:Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)ARRT Certification (required)High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)One year of experience in a surgical setting (preferred)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)Knowledge of Universal Precautions and Aseptic TechniqueStrong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindsetWork Environment and Flexibility:We operate on a team-based staffing model. This means you may be cross-trained and expected to assist in other clinical areas as patient needs and staffing requirements evolve.
