MRP Planner

Job Description

A Materials Replenishment Planner will be responsible for procuring raw and packaging materials by converting the output of the detailed schedule into daily/weekly materials requirements. The MRP planner will analyze data from the system and ensure availability of the right quantity of components to the production lines when needed; communicating the plan to the different suppliers within the agreed lead times. The MRP planner will also optimize the flow of materials, while considering plan warehouse capacity and inventory targets, eliminating potential disruptions in the storage area, minimizing both storage cost and potential SLOB.

Skills and Requirements

* Experience with SAP

* A minimum of 2+ years of related experience is required

* Demonstrates strong analytical skills- ability to manage and manipulate large amounts of data and convert to clear business information is required

* Proficient with Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)

* Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, considering diverse perspective and styles is required
