Sales Director of Safety and Technical Development Training Solutions

POSITION OVERVIEW

CPaT Global is seeking an experienced safety, compliance, training, or operations professional to lead the company's expansion into new industrial markets.

This role is designed for an individual who has firsthand experience working in highly regulated, safety-critical environments and understands the challenges organizations face in maintaining workforce competency, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strong safety cultures.

Rather than a traditional sales role, this position serves as a trusted advisor to industry leaders, helping organizations improve safety performance and workforce effectiveness through modern training technologies, custom courseware development, learning management systems, and competency-based learning solutions.

This position offers a unique opportunity to build and lead CPaT's expansion into new industrial markets and potentially establish a dedicated business unit.

WHO WE ARE REALLY LOOKING FOR

This is not a traditional sales position.

CPaT is seeking a safety, training, operations, or compliance professional who understands the realities of working in highly regulated, safety-critical industries and is excited about helping organizations improve workforce performance, safety culture, and regulatory compliance through innovative training solutions.

We can teach our products. We cannot teach years of industry experience, credibility, and professional relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in safety, compliance, operations, training, workforce development, risk management, or related leadership roles.

• Experience within Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, Construction, Maritime, Rail Transportation, or Industrial Operations is preferred.

• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, workforce competency management, safety management systems, and compliance training.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred:

• Business development, consulting, account management, or sales experience.

• Experience with training programs, LMS platforms, EHS solutions, workforce development, or industrial SaaS platforms.

• Existing industry relationships and professional networks.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
