SUITE ATTENDANT

Position Title Suite Attendant (Part-Time Seasonal) at CarMax Park, Home of the Richmond Flying Squirrels Pay Range $12.41 to $14.00 Job Summary This position is located at CarMax Park in Richmond, VA. CarMax Park is currently under construction and is scheduled to open in 2026. This seasonal, event‑based role will run from April to September and involves taking food and beverage orders and efficiently delivering items to suite and premium area guests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Promptly and warmly greet guests in the suite or premium space; take food and beverages efficiently, following established steps of service. Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards. Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests. Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients. Advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested; accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences. As needed, demonstrate knowledge of specialised diets and allergens. Communicate directly with back‑of‑the‑house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated. Exhibit exceptional communication skills and demonstrate ability to get along well with others. Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff. Collect tickets and follow proper cash‑handling procedures. Promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests. Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared. Promptly address complaints or issues; relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor. Ensure that the suite or premium space is properly set up prior to and after the service period; keep the area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards. Operate a variety of equipment, fire extinguishers, telephones, including chafers, inductions, beverage machines, soup wells and coffee machines. Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions. Perform other duties as assigned.
