Die SetterJoin Our TeamThe Die Setter is responsible for managing and prioritizing workflow at the secondary presses to ensure efficient production. By organizing work on the workflow board, the Die Setter maximizes productivity, output, and operational effectiveness within the area. We're looking for motivated, dependable individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a team.What You'll DoSupport secondary operations and operators in stamping/fabrication department to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations.Maximize daily output to meet customer demand and production requirements.Contribute to the department's success by supporting the achievement of quality, safety, delivery, and productivity goals.Assist secondary operators with interpreting prints and specifications as needed.Train and guide secondary operators on proper part loading procedures, recognizing that loading requirements vary by part and die.Respond promptly and professionally to special assignments and requests from working leaders.Perform the responsibilities outlined above, as well as other duties and assignments as required to support departmental objectives.Work collaboratively with your team, promoting a culture of respect, fairness, and cooperation.Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other equipment.Operate a variety of tools and machines to complete production work.Maintain high standards for product quality and production efficiency.Follow all safety and environmental procedures, including spill prevention, stormwater protection, and proper handling of materials.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred).Willingness to learn new skills and operate production equipment.Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays, when needed.Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain standing or sitting for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.Commitment to working safely and supporting a safe workplace for everyone.What Success Looks LikeYou consistently meet production and quality standards.You show up ready to work and contribute positively to the team.You follow safety guidelines and help prevent workplace incidents.You continue to learn and grow your skills on the job.This position requires the ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, in accordance with the ADA.
