Please Note Pay rate is all inclusive – 75 to 85$/hour i.e. (No Benefits / No per diem / No Relocation Expenses / No Travel allowances / No Living Expenses).

Also, depending upon location wise pay rate range might differ.

Duration: Minimum 1 year + very high possibilities of extensions further.

(usually, these construction projects go for longer horizon).

The Project Safety Adviser supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, while enhancing the overall safety culture.

Oversee all aspects of a complex electrical structures and construction project ensuring OSHA compliance

Consult with executive management on contractor safety plans and ensure implementation in place for each project.

Provide review, and oversight, of construction Health & Safety management procedures

Attend safety department and management meetings, training workshops, and daily activity briefings

Oversee all subcontractors and contractors ensuring competency

Continually encouraging, and promoting, Health & Safety initiatives aimed at influencing positive safety behavior on all projects

Qualifications

Required:

CHST/CSP

Data center construction experience

10 years' of construction safety experience with formal qualifications in construction health and safety management

Extensive experience in contractor communications, liaising with design teams, and other project professionals

Advanced experience working on data center or mission critical builds

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient computer skills

Typical task breakdown and rhythm – 75% walking on the construction field ensuring safety and making sure policy is upheld. They hold the general contractors accountable for safety to ensure there are no incidents and that items are being constructed in a timely manner. 25% will be compliance and conducting reporting for Client.

Years of experience required

• 10+ years of experience in construction safety experience.

Degrees or certifications required – Would like to see

CHST / CSP

OSHA 500, & OSHA 510

certification. A thorough understanding of OSHA standards & regulations is essential.

Strong communication skill is necessarily to effectively convey safety policies and procedures to all employees, workers, staff, contractors, consultants, etc. at all levels.

The ability to conduct safety training sessions & effectively communicate with other safety representatives is important.

Disqualifiers – Must have Data center construction safety experience, CHST / CSP certified.
