_ Position Description: _

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant (Junior) to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, tech-focused environment. 

In this role, you will support the Accounting Manager in maintaining accurate financial records across Digistorm entities. You will work closely with external accounting partners and internal teams to manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Collections, and assist with other financial and administrative tasks as needed. 

_ Responsabilities: _

• Support billing processes by reviewing Salesforce opportunities and liaising with external Accounts Receivable partners, the Customer Success team, and clients. 

• Assist with the fortnightly payroll process, including communication with HR and data preparation for outsourced payroll providers. 

• Manage company credit card transactions: prepare journal entries, apply correct GL coding, and ensure timely submission of receipts in accordance with policy. 

• Perform collections activities including sending invoices, following up on outstanding payments, and maintaining professional communication with customers. 

• Provide support to external Accounts Payable partners by assisting with vendor invoice queries and documentation. 

• Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and gather documentation for the company’s annual financial audit. 

• Support the Accounting Manager in preparing and submitting tax returns accurately and on time. 

• Deliver ad-hoc financial reports, analysis, and contribute to project-based work as needed. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 

• 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role is advantageous; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. 

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Intacct or NetSuite, and CRM platforms like Salesforce is a plus. 

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. 

• High standard of professionalism and confidentiality. 

• Strong organisational and time-management skills. 

• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and learning.
