In this role, you will provide high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients, utilizing advanced clinical skills and evidence-based practices to promote optimal patient outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact as part of a dedicated critical care team. Key Responsibilities • Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill patients requiring complex, high-acuity nursing interventions • Initiate and titrate vasoactive drips, sedation, and analgesic infusions per physician orders and established protocols • Manage patients on mechanical ventilation, including ventilator weaning and airway maintenance • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists to develop and implement individualized care plans • Perform hemodynamic monitoring using arterial lines, central venous catheters, and pulmonary artery catheters • Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition, initiating emergency interventions as needed • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and care plans to support informed decision-making ✅ Requirements • Active AZ or Compact RN license • BLS, PALS, NRP (preferred) certifications • 2+ years of Pediatric ICU experience • ACLS certification preferred Pay Pay range: $2,736 to $2,887 per week. Travel PICU RN package: up to $2,887/week (36 hours) = $34/hour taxable + up to $1,663/week in travel reimbursements if eligible under IRS tax-home and expense rules. Local package: $76/hour fully taxable ($2,736/week for 36 hours). Overtime paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour laws and the assignment agreement. Actual compensation varies based on hours worked, assignment terms and travel reimbursement eligibility.

Requirements

Active AZ or Compact RN license BLS, PALS, NRP (preferred) certifications 2+ years of Pediatric ICU experience ACLS certification preferred
