Electrician

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrician in Port Orange, FL. The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and service-oriented environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes, the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and experience working independently or as part of a team to ensure system reliability and safety. Job Type: Contract Pay: $20 to $35 Per Hour BOE Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, and transformers. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime for service clients. Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installations. Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers, transformers, and outlets. Install, bend, and remove conduit to accommodate specific wiring needs at various job sites. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using various testing devices to ensure safety and performance. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during service calls. Ensure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial electrical installations or electrical service work. Possession of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and a standard set of electrical hand tools. Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety procedures. Dependable and punctual, with the ability to manage tasks independently in the field. Reliable transportation to reach various job sites in the Port Orange area. Physical Requirements Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination. Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles as required by the job site. Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. Must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including inclement weather. Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring. Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods of time. Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs. Pay Transparency The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
