Responsibilities As an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group, you will contribute to projects that enable the heart of our clients’ data center facilities engineering, design, and construction. The position is flexible in the U.S. You will provide design work, collaborate with the team, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist in construction on site. Working closely with a broader multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, dynamic collaborative environment, you will establish design requirements and produce construction documents. Your responsibilities include engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities. Design may also include retrofitting existing building systems. Additional responsibilities may involve managing quality, scope, budget, and schedule. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline 1 or more years’ experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus‑style power distribution including conveyance Extensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) is preferred Effective verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) license At least 1 year of data center facility design experience Analytical and problem‑solving skills Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi‑disciplinary teams Passionate about buildings and construction Experience in the design of large projects established on greenfield sites Benefits Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you and the things you care about. Compensation The base salary range for this position is $66,900 to $117,100. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
